John serves as the Treasurer of Northern Kentucky Baseball, and joined the Board of Directors in 2015. He has lived in Northern Kentucky his entire life, growing up in Alexandria and graduating from Northern Kentucky University in 2005 with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. He has coached youth baseball for 14 years, and currently coaches a 10U team.
John is a Business Development Manager at US Bank, covering the Independence and Hebron markets. He has worked for US Bank for the last 6 years, and in financial services for the past 18 years, including positions at Fifth Third, Fidelity Investments, and Waddell & Reed.
John and his wife, Michelle have three sons, Nick, Drew, and Nathan. Along with serving as NKB Treasurer, and coaching youth baseball, he is also the Committee Chairperson for Cub Scout Pack 805 (based in Union) and also volunteers time with Junior Achievement in the Boone County School System.

JOB DESCRIPTION –TREASURER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs day-to-day financial-related activities, including the receipt and recording of deposits and payment and recording of disbursements.
- Reconciles bank statements monthly to assure that the cash balance in the corporate check register and records match the cash balance on the bank statement.
- Processes Payroll for both salary and hourly employees, working with payroll processing company to ensure correct taxes and deductions are withheld and submitted.
- Prepares a financial report to be given at each of the regular meetings of the NKB Board.
- Prepares an annual operating budget in cooperation with the President to be presented to NKB Board.
- Prepares a statement of receipts and disbursements at the end of each fiscal year.
- Files Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service and annual sales tax reports to the State Department of Revenue by required deadlines.
- Presides over meetings in the absence of the President and Vice President.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors
